Unfortunately, drivers for QuickCam 9.5 are not available for Windows 10. It is recommended to upgrade to a newer webcam or use a virtual machine with an older version of Windows.
I have an old QuickCam 11.8, however the old drivers for XP only. Whas a possible driver is to be used for running this camera on Win 10 -x64? Thanks

There is no official driver for Logitech QuickCam 11.8 for Windows 10. The camera may not be compatible with the newer operating system. However, you can try using third-party drivers or software to see if it can be made to work.
Navigate to Logitech Support web page, identify your webcam model and download the latest files available. After that, press Windows + R key combination, type devmgmt.msc and click OK. Expand the Imaging devices and Universal Serial Bus controllers lists, right-click on the webcam driver and select Update Driver Software. Use the Browse option to navigate to the installation package, select the downloaded driver and install it following the self explained steps.
Note: Also, you can try finding the webcam drivers using a driver identifier from Software Informer database.
Navigate to the official website of Logitech and download a newer package for your operating system. You will have the possibility to download software and drivers for Windows Vista and above.
Right-click on the computer icon, select Properties and press the Advanced System Settings option. Go to Advanced tab and click Settings below the Performance section. On Data Execution Prevention tab, check the first box and reinstall the application. Be sure to remove it first using Add or Remove Programs feature. If this doesn't solve the problem update your Windows Installer. If you're using Windows Vista or above, do that through Windows Update utility.
The problem you encounter is related to the update module that the software is using to check for newer versions of the software itself or drivers. The webcam should work even if you have this error. Try uninstalling the application and then installing it again. This should fix it. At the end of the installation, make sure the software is added to the firewall's exclusion list.
Every time I plug in my webcam, it freezes up my whole computer. I have a Latitude D600 laptop. What can I do?

No, you can’t put the video images from your webcam directly on your TV. You need a camera that has RCA jacks as an output or you can try a USB-to-RCA adapter. You can find these types of adapters on Amazon, eBay or other similar websites. From Logitech, you can try TV Cam HD that uses HDMI cables. I suggest you contact Logitech for further information.
